Mascaras I Love...

Maybelline the Rocket Volum' Express
Waterproof Superdrug £7.99
Well this mascara has been spoken about so much since it came out and I literally had no waterproof mascaras to my make up collection so I thought one day, what the heck I'm going to buy it. I think for the price tag of £7.99 this is great. The brush is amazing its bristles are fine but the wand just gives you that lift to your lashes that makes them look divine. I also love the funky packaging, I'm a sucker for packaging, if it looks good I must have it. I only use black mascaras so this one in extra black is just... WOW. Love it!

AVON Super Extend Mascara
A Gift
The next mascara to my list is the AVON Super Extend mascara and I received this as a gift at Christmas just gone and I never thought anything of using it. One day I saw it in my make up bag that I cram everything into and decided to use it. I'm so glad I gave this one a try as it's an everyday mascara if I'm not using the Rimmel one below and I think it does what it says on the tin. The wand it quite slim but  is bigger at the top and goes in at the bottom slightly so you can really reach those tiny lases in the corners that most of the time refuse to be good. One thing I must say is that I find the formula a little too wet but once it is dry there isn't a problem. If this is still in the AVON book I will probably purchase it again sometime.

Rimmel Magnif'eyes Eye Opening  Mascara  in Black
Off local market for £1.99

This one has been worn to death. I got this on a random day with my Mum in town and I just needed a new mascara and pronto, so I got this for around £1.99 and you know what? It hasn't failed me yet. It has a similar bristle on the end of the wand as the AVON one above but this is slightly thicker and the end is a little pointier to reach again those tiny lashes who are sometimes a little naughty. I have used this so so much but I have looked on the Superdrug website and I couldn't find this one, only ones who state they do the same so this one is probably going to be hard to find, but it is a brilliant everyday, slightly voluminous mascara that gives you all the lift you need for a natural look and to add to the greatness its build-able too for when you added WOW to the eyes.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation - No. 51 Light Vanilla

Bourjois Healthy Mix - No.51 Light Vanilla
£9.99 Suoerdrug
After blogging so much lately because I've literally been in the zone, I sat there writing down some idea and completely forgot to blog the most staple of products, this Healthy Mix foundation from Bourjois that I use most days. I must say I didn't give in to this one too easy when it came out. I waited and watched YouTube videos and read blog posts about it before I eventually went out and brought it. I needed a foundation that was good coverage, I'm not too fused about the whole full coverage thing because that's not me, but this is just right. I find if you want a medium coverage you can apply maybe two coats and the colour is a little more opaque on the skin. What I would say is that if you have oily skin you will definitely need a powder to put on top, because during the day it does get a little oily on the face. We don't want our face down our shirts do we?

To conclude I would say that this isn't amazing coverage but it does give you a great glow and a medium coverage, smells good, not that the scent really matters, and I think it is good for durability with its pump because you don't use too much product and the bottle lasts quite a while. I've had this from the beginning of May and it's still going strong. I don't use this everyday as I switch it up now and again for the MUA Undress your Skin, Illuminating Foundation which is a lighter coverage. I tend to use the Healthy Mix on those not so good skin days and to go out with and find it last quite a while before you need to touch anything up.

It's a great foundation for everyday or for a medium coverage on a night out.
I hope you enjoyed,

Stacey :D

Top 5 Beauty Buys Over the Passing Months

Sudocrem 30g,
£2 Superdrug
First and foremost I would definitely say that Sudocrem has been a real saviour over the past month or so. This handy travel size tube has worked wonders for me. When the sun came out in the UK a couple of weeks ago I suffered from a slightly burnt nose, so before bed I'd put a thin layer on my nose and by morning it didn't hurt any more, but each night I would apply it until after about three days it had gone completely. I even used this on my forehead for sunburn too. Definitely a versatile product too.

FASHIONISTA Palette £2 on sale
Top L-R - Golden Dragon, Gold Rush
Bottom L-R - Bronze, Nude
£2 each on offer Superdrug Website
Next on my Top 5 Beauty buys is the FASHIONISTA four palette that I recently purchased on the Superdrug website. This brand had half price so I jumped at it. The blank four palette was £2.50 and the four individual eye shadows were £2 each. By far my favourites are 'Bronze' (bottom left of the palette), it's beautiful and 'Gold Rush' I use as a crease colour on top of 'Bronze' (Gold Rush top right of the palette). I literally use these shades the most. However the top left one called 'Golden Dragon' looked different on the website, I liked it but for me is hard to incorporate with my eye colour being green. The 'Nude' eye shadow (bottom right) however is a great base colour. I would recommend making your own palette because you can buy a palette and only like a few of the colours and it can be wasteful.

Radox - Berry Burst, £1 Home Bargains or somewhere like that
Lets move on to bath time stuff... I've been using this over the course of the month, the Radox Berry Burst Shower Cream and it smells amazing! It says on the bottle that it contains 'Sumptuous Berries and Milk'. I literally have been lathering this stuff on to my skin each bath time and I am left feeling fresh and smelling like berries, it's a great feeling and it makes the bathroom smell delicious. This I think was around £1 from Home Bargains or somewhere like that but this has lasted me a while. Definitely will be repurchasing.

Calcot Manor Country Spa Retreat, The Perfect Day Body Scrub
  £3.99 Tesco
One more bath product that I have been loving is the from the brand Calcot Manor Country Spa Retreat, it's The Perfect Day Body Scrub. It contains Papaya, Lemon and Vitamin E. What I enjoy about this is that it smells great and it actually serves its purpose. It's easy to just blob on, rub it in in circular motions, wash off and there you have it perfectly polished, smooth legs. You can't beat that fresh feeling.

Scarlett and Crimson Face Mattifying Papers
from Scarlett and Crimson Palette - Scarlett Scene 27,
 £2 T.X Maxx
Last but not least is the Scarlett and Crimson Face Mattifying Papers. These came in a small palette I got on sale at T.X. Maxx not too long ago and I swear by these. I have heard over the past years how great blotting or mattifying papers can be, so when I saw a palette that had a plummy blush, contour/bronzer, lip glosses and then mattifying papers for just £2, I jumped at it. These papers have been my saviour during the humid and warm weather we have been experiencing in the UK and these I believe have stopped  breakouts as my skin isn't producing much natural oil as these bad boys just matte it all up. Love it! Must get some more.

So there you have it my Top 5 Beauty Buys Over the Passing Months. Hope you enjoyed, will be doing more of these in the future, watch this space :).

Top Ten Nail Varnishes & Collection

I'm Pretty old school when it comes to the storing of my nail varnish collection, this bag I have had since I was 7 or 8 and quite frankly it's the best storage for me because it's all in one place including nail tools and remover. Nail varnishes come and go, they go yucky, you outgrow some shades, and some just aren't very good but from what I have now I have had the difficulty of picking my top ten nail varnishes which isn't too easy when you love most of your nail polishes. However, ten I needed and ten I picked. So let's get down to it then... My Top Ten Nail Varnishes/Polishes.

My Top Ten Nail Varnishes
L-R- Nails Inc. Eden Grove,  Collectiom 2000 Hot looks Fruit Salad (43),
Sinful Colors Ruby Ruby, George. Jeopardy, Avon Speeddry+ Don't Be Jaded,
Avon Speedry+ Red Wine, Avon nail wear Pro+ Starry Sky, Miss Sporty Sparkle Touch 211112,
Avon Speedry+ Rebel Rose, Technic Tawny Port.

Nails Inc. Eden Grove
This nail polish was given to me by my Mum's friend about a year ago and to be honest I think this shade is beautiful, it's a green, teal colour, perfect for those spring/summer months and the formula of this particular brand is amazing, two coat and you are done. I don't tend to use this a hell of a lot simply because I will not be rushing to buy Nails Inc. polishes as they are on the dear side. Saying that I have recently noticed Nails Inc. nail polishes are issued in some magazines as free gifts, so if you don't want to spend too much on this brand, keep your eyes open for those magazines with the free gifts, magazines such as Glamour, Cosmopolitan and Company.

Collection 2000, Hot Looks, Fruit Salad (43)
Now this nail polish is amazing, its a hot pink colour that strangely reminds me of bubblegum. It's a gorgeous colour to add that pop to the nails or to add to a monochrome outfit and above all is amazing for the summer. But to be honest I love the colour, the way it applies and how quick it dries as it's fast dry, but I think the bottle is tiny and believe this will run out fast if I keep using it and I'm scared they don't do this shade any more. But other than that this is one of my favourites also given to me by my Mum's friend.

Sinful Colors Professional - Ruby Ruby
This one I have reviewed previously on my blog, the link will be in the caption below the image. Anyway, despite some of the faults or maybe my misuse of applying the first time, I do love this classic red colour. I think almost every girl loves a classic red on the nails, for me it makes me feel more feminine and this colour in particular I just love love love. I do need to try out some more of the colours from this range, I keep walking past the stand in Boots, but I think I need to give into temptation and grab a few, for £1.99, it's cheap, great range of colours and the bottles a decent size. Watch this space.

George. Quick Dry Nail Polish -  Jeopardy
Now I can't explain the love for this nail polish. I can literally apply this to the nails, let it dry and take a look and I'm taken aback from the greatness of this colour. It's a Salmon colour that I find can suit any skin tone. My pale skin that I sport all year round other than when we have a rare few days of sun, suits this very well and when I am a little tanner than usual this suits my skin too. I just love a nail polish that can suit any tones of skin and the brand is cheap and the brush is a great size to apply on the nails with, hope this is still in store, fingers crossed!

Avon Speed Dry + Nail Enamel - Don't Be Jaded
Well well well... this colour I am in love with, it's like a mint colour but far more greener, I just think that this is the perfect spring/summer shade and for £2.50 from the Avon brochure you can't grumble. I haven't wore this as much as I would like to, but it had to be within my top ten nail polishes simply because the colour is beautiful, it's speed dry and for the price is good quality. As you may or may not know, I love Avon products as I have many a make up products that are this brand that I have mentioned in previous posts. The quality of these nail polishes are just great, especially for someone who is always fumbling about all the time, it doesn't chip quickly like other nail enamels, just pop a good top coat on and you're good to go.

Avon Speed Dry + Nail Enamel - Red Wine
I remember that in the winter the trend was dark nails and lips, berry colours, deep purples and dark reds and normally I don't give in to trends and all that jazz so much because I have my own way of doing things. Anyway I saw this nail enamel in the Avon brochure and it was on sale for £2.50 so I was like why not? I can honestly say I made the right decision to get this shade, it is what it says on the bottle, a red wine colour that instantly feminises any outfit for me. You know what? I think I may just apply this after this post because I just think it's a gorgeous, feminine colour that dry quickly, and doesn't chip badly within the first few minutes. You guys must try this nail enamel range It's just amazing.

Avon Nail Wear Pro+ - Starry Sky
Okay I have to admit that I'm not one for glitz and sparkle, but when my Grandma kindly gave me this nail polish I thought I'd give it a go. I love this, it's a little daring but for those nights when you are going out and you want to glitz and other wise plain outfit, it just adds that something else to it. I've wore this a few times, more so as an accent nail to go with other nail polishes. It doesn't chip quickly and I just love the added glitz, what can I say? I can be a little girly at times, but for added sparkle I definitely go for this.

Miss Sporty Sparkle Touch - 211112
I think for a subtle glitter look this nail polish is perfect. It has the most prettiest little blue, purple and silver glitters in it that I think as either a topcoat over another nail polish can look really pretty. Also, as an accent nail looks great too and last but not least I believe my favourite way to use this is to add it on to a coat of nail polish but just on the tips, similar to a French manicure look for that extra looking effort. One thing I would say is that the brush is a little too big, I think it should be smaller, but oh well it's beautiful, I can work with what I have got.

Avon Speed Dry+ Nail Enamel - Rebel Rose
Yes it is another Avon Nail Enamel that you see, but what's a girl to do when she knows what works for her.
This hot pink I absolutely love, it looks amazing on the nails and is perfect again for summer to add a pop of colour. I don't wear this as often as I should. I love nail polish but sometimes I just don't have the time to apply it and keep up with making my nails look fresh and pretty, but when I do this hot pink is great to add something to the hands as well as outfits.

Technic - Tawny Port
I've had this one for a while now but when rummaging through my nail varnish collection bag I came across this colour again. It was Winter at the time so this fitted the dark colour trend that was out at the time and I could not stop applying this. Its a lovely dark, red purple that gives a dark look to the nails without being to dark like a black nail polish. Even on pale hands it looks great, it's sort of vampy looking and I love that, It's nail polishes like this that give me the confidence to try something new.

This concludes my Top Ten Nail Varnishes and Collection, There are more that I liked but I cut it down to ten that I thought applied to anyone. Hope you enjoyed this as much as I liked blogging it for you.

Top Ten Lipsticks & Lipstick Collection

The Lipstick Collection
I may not have MAC or any other high end lipsticks, but my little lipstick collection is all I need. I absolutely love Avon lipsticks, as you can probably tell from the packaging. But there are a few other lipsticks from Miss Sporty, MUA, BarryM, Wet'n'Wild, Revlon and Maybelline and a few that are cheap and nameless. It just proves you don't need to break the bank to have a good range of lipsticks. I have loved Lipsticks for so long, I got over the lip gloss thing in my early teens and went on to wear nudes and pinks and eventually branched out for the peaches, bright pinks, reds and darker shades. I guess as you get older and you know yourself better you build the confidence to wear daring lipsticks or other make up bits, well so it seems when it comes to me. Anyway enough said, lets get to it...

Three drawer storage from the bathroom section in
 Wilkinson around £2.50

From L-R - Perfect Peach Avon, Noble Nude - Avon,
Divine Wine - Avon, Zafi Lipstick, Flirt - Avon Colour Trend,
Really Rosy - Avon, Citrus Slice - Maybelline Colour Sensational Pop Stick ,
Pink Lemonade - Revlon Lip Butter, I Poke - Miss Sporty Perfect Colour Lipstick  &
Wet'n'Wild  - No. E81411
1. Perfect Peach - Avon
This Lipstick as you can tell from the image above has been truly loved, I had the full lipstick version nearly two years ago and it was maybe one of the first lipsticks I constantly wore throughout my A Level days. It the perfect nude pink colour that is subtle with a little shimmer, I was so thankful when my Grandma gave me the sample size lipstick for Christmas last year as I love this shade and for someone who is starting out with lipstick, I would definitely recommend starting off with a subtle shade and then work your way up.

2. Noble Nude - Avon
This one I was given by my Grandma again she brought it and it just wasn't for her. This nude, pinky brown is quite nice for that nude, grown up sort of look, I did use this quite a bit when I got it because it suits my lips nicely, however, this has been neglected due to me liking more peachy shades as of late. But this is probably as step up from the subtle nude Perfect Peach, above.

3. Divine Wine - Avon
Wow! Well this one is a daring one. When I was watching my usual subscriptions during the Winter/Autumn months on YouTube, a lot of the dark, deep shade were very in and I thought why not purchase it? I wanted to be more daring as at the time I was getting used to wearing dark reds and pinks on nice days, so I gave it a try and I loved it, it's a deep purple, with slight pink so it doesn't look dull on the lips. I paired this with a grey slouchy hat in the winter months and it just made me instantly look like I made effort when I really didn't. Love this shade!

4. Zafi Lipstick - Unknown shade No. and Name - From Hooty's
Well, this shade of lipstick is definitely one that I have been going for more lately with the sun shining now and again in the UK. It is a rather bright peach colour that is quite striking but I love that quality of it because it makes a statement, with low maintenance eye make up and subtle cheeks with a bright coral, peach shade, I think it looks summery and refreshing. I purchased this quite a while ago at Hooty's, a big warehouse in the UK near where I live and I have since been trying to find something as amazing as this. Beautiful this one is and best of it is, when you blot it, it can look subtle and not as striking, two in one almost.

5. Flirt - Colour Trend Avon
This one I brought on a whim, browsing through the Avon book, but to be honest, this is such a great shade, its peachy but orangey and for an everyday shade to pop on and re-apply and to pack into your handbag its brilliant. It gives a pop of colour when you need it and due to being on the pale side, I'm not really pale, but somewhat pale, it suits my skin well, and I even find that even though this is a cheap lipstick it lasts for a while. I think this type of shade is a staple for anyone.

6. Really Rosy - Avon
This one in the packaging can look a little overwhelming, believe me it was when I first saw it, but you know what, this was my first ever red lipstick and I swear by. It's not your classic red, it's a deep red with little shimmers in it and looks perfect for a night out or an everyday dark lip look. As you can tell it has been much loved as it's so tiny looking now, but to be honest I definitely will be re-purchasing it. It's the first daring shade I brought and now I don't feel scared to wear it and it lasts a long time and well... it's just beautiful.
7. Citrus Slice - Maybelline Colour Sensational Pop Sticks
This one is one that I have reviewed before, the link will be in the caption below the image, and I've got to say since then I have practically used this everyday. I take it shopping and to work with me. It's got a nice subtle colour tinge to it that makes my lips look juicy like fruit, like the name Citrus Slice suggests. Before long this bad boy will be gone because I can't possibly stop applying this, it smells great, looks great and feels great. Go and check the blog post on it for more, but I love, love, love this one!

8. Pink Lemonade - Revlon  Lip Butter Collection
Well, well, well... These have been talked about a hell of a lot in the blogging and YouTube world and it's fair to say the lip butter collection lives up to it's reputation. But this shade in particular is amazing, it's the perfect rose pink shade that I have had many a comment on, like the he Citrus Slice one above  I use it everyday, shopping and at work. It's a beautiful shade and is so so moisturising that I feel like applying it constantly. I think if you like lipsticks and chap sticks, this is the perfect combination product and great for those who are starting out in make up or for those who prefer subtlety over statement shades.
9. I Poke - Miss Sporty Perfect Colour Lipstick
This perfect peachy, glossy lipstick has been reviewed by me before, the link will be in the caption above, and I have got to say this is one of those lipsticks like Pink Lemonade and Citrus Slice that has been living in my everyday bag for ages. I even used this last night to a friends show. It's perfect for those days when you want a hint of colour or for popping into your bag before you leave the house and when you feel the need to apply a lipstick this is quick and easy, smells like watermelon and is moisturising beyond belief. Definitely a staple lippy for those who love peachy shades like me.

10. E81411 - Wet'n'Wild
This shade and brand is a recent purchase for me, I thought to myself one night, I'm in need of a bright red lipstick, so I went on Ebay, knowing that Wet'n'Wild was a good cheap brand to get hold of on the internet and I found this one. I must say that on the Internet it looked so much redder, but when it arrived and I swatched it was like a pinky red, but I fell in love with it. It's so pretty on the lips and now when I go out I feel I can just put this on and instantly look like effort has been made and it compliments any skin tone really well. I think I will purchasing more Wet'n'Wild lipsticks in the future, they are such great quality, cheap and have beautiful shades. Love this Red!

So that concludes my Lipstick Collection and Top Ten Lipsticks. Of course there are other lipsticks that I love but these ten I believe are staple for me and to be honest they are cheap and mostly drug store brands but like my mum always says, "It's all the same".

Let me know what you think in the comments below and tell me what your favourite lipsticks are.
Hope you enjoyed...

Miss Sporty Pump Up Booster Mascara - 001 Extra Black

Miss Sporty Pump Up Booster Mascara - 001 Extra Black
 £3.99 Superdrug
Well, I can honestly say that I have tried my fair share of mascara's over the years of me wearing make up, but I have never been one to even really look at a mascara before I buy it, I literally just look at the usual brands such as, Collection, Rimmel, Maybelline, MUA and Miss Sporty, but what I fail to grasp is what I want in a mascara. However, unlike like past purchases I really looked at this one, I liked the idea of this giving me 15 x more volume. Although at the time this product looked like a good idea, I don't think much of it in the long run and here's why...

The bristles on the brush are just way to big for me to function without it getting all over my lid or under the brow bone. I'm all for volume with lashes but this is just troublesome to use. When I first tried this I found that due to the bristle being too large, maybe this is a mascara you would use after a coat of a normal mascara as it does create volume, but not too much on it's own, bearing in mind I don't go crazy with mascara as it just wrecks my fragile eye lashes. I don't know, I will obviously use this up, I just think this would be perfect for those who like to layer the mascara up for volume. I just found this product disappointing because after a while, after just a few coats of this your lashes, the lashes seem to fall and not look so great. Also one other thing to mention is that I have now realised not to put this on the bottom lashes at all, I looked like a panda half way through the day, just a pre warning folks.

I think as a booster on top of a normal everyday mascara this would work great, however the bristle are far too big, it doesn't stay well on the lower lashes and your lashes fall half way through the day. The only thing I like about this mascara sadly is the chunky and funky packaging. Hopefully better luck next time with the mascara hunting, maybe I'll stick to what I know next time.

Hope you enjoyed

AVON: Advance Techniques 360 Nourishment Moroccan Argan Oil Leave-in Treatment

Advance Techniques 360 Nourishment Moroccan Argan Oil Leave-in Treatment
£2.50 on offer - Avon

As I have said in my last Avon post, I'm known to have a rummage through my local Avon book and buy practically anything which takes my fancy. This Leave-in treatment caught my eye when I saw it on offer for £2.50. I had heard all about the Moroccan Argan Oils that were all coming out at the time and thought well for this price you can't go wrong. Anyway, enough of that, let's get to the reviewing...

All you need is a pea size amount, as you can see above in the second picture, or if your hair is a little longer add a little more on to the fingers, rub in to the hands and run through the ends of the hair. One thing I would say is, add it to damp or nearly dry hair for best results as I have used this quite a lot and found it works best that way. If you were to put it near the top of the head, it is obvious that it would make your hair greasy, especially mine. A little bit goes a long way and it makes the product last longer, I use it a few times a week after washing my hair and the oil seems to last along time, as you can see in the first picture hardly any of the product has gone from the pump packaging.

I really like this Moroccan Argan Oil leave-in treatment because if you suffer with dry ends like me, this is perfect for you. It leaves the end soft and less damaged looking and smells really nice. There are a lot of oils like this around now, the Moroccan/Argan Oil thing seems to be really hitting off. But this one was cheap and has quite a lot of product. Give it a try, I thought I wouldn't like it, but I do, maybe you will too.

Hope this was helpful,
Stacey :D

LUSH - Bubblegum Lip Scrub

LUSH Bubblegum Lip Scrub £5.25

This lip scrub for me is a God send, especially in those cold winter months and even in hot weather when my lips get dry from the damaging sun. I suffer from dry lips now and again as it is always pretty much chilly and windy in the UK. In the morning and night during those dry lip days, I literally take a scoop onto my finger and delicately scrub on to the lips. The smell firstly is amazing, it has a sweet scent and what's good with this is you can either wipe off or lick it off as its all natural ingredients and causes no harm. I personally would rather wipe it of but, it has been known to occasionally leave a little on the lips and from that I can say it actually tastes rather good. One thing I would say, in terms of negativity, is that depending on how much you put on it can leave a slightly greasy residue, but other than that, this is great to apply morning or night before you add a bit of lippy or before bed before applying your favourite lip balm.

There are a range of other lip scrubs on the LUSH website below, if you'd like to check it out:

Let me know if you have tried this lip scrub or any other lip scrubs from the LUSH range in the comments.

Clearasil Ultra - Overnight Serum 15ml

Clearasil Ultra - Overnight Serum, 15 ml
£1 Poundland
Now as you can see from the picture (^), this serum has definitely been loved, with its scruffy appearance with scratches and wounds. I literally swear by this product and to find it in Poundland about a year ago, how cheap, Clearasil is normally quite pricey for some things so I knew I had to get it.

As you all probably know, if you have been reading my previous posts about skin care, I have oily, spot prone skin, always have, always will probably. But there is nothing worse than getting a big spot on your forehead or chin or any other areas of the face, the night before you have a party, a dinner etc. This serum doesn't necessarily get rid of the problem straight away, but you pop a thin layer over the problem area the night before and in the morning the swelling and redness is gone, leaving just a little bump that can be easily covered with foundation or concealer. I have used this for a while now and it hasn't let me down yet. Even though it's 15 ml it lasts a hell of a long time and when travelling is small and compact. Perfect, redness removed and easy to carry, it's a win win.

I believe this is still sold in Poundland, so don't be afraid to give it a try, as it works wonders for me and may work wonders for you too.

Miss Sporty Perfect Colour Lipstick - I Poke - 059

Miss Sporty Perfect Colour Lip Stick - I Poke 059
£2.59 Superdrug
I have previously posted about the Miss Sporty Perfect Colour Lipstick in Innocence. However, I brought this particular shade first and thought recently, well this colour is amazing for the summer months with a pop of colour with it's peachy pink shade, it definitely needed some attention. To be honest, when I first brought this shade I didn't really think, ooh, I really want that lipstick in that shade, I literally just picked it up. I have had this maybe a year before I even thought about blogging. Anyway, enough about the history of the lipstick and lets get down to it.

As you can see above it's a very peachy shade with a pinky quality, but not too much pink. I think this shade is perfect for summer, it's like a breath of fresh air and to make it even better it smells amazing, like watermelons and the smell lasts a while. Some people don't like smells when it comes to products, but with this lipstick I believe it makes the lipstick seem more summery with it's fruity quality. The consistency of the lipstick is almost cream like, when I swatched this above, the lipstick decided to transfer on to my other hand slightly when it glided past a little when fumbling about. But if you can look past that, this lipstick is amazing in colour, smells good and because its creamy I find it moisturising. One thing I would say after wearing it for a few hours, if you have dry lips, it seems to stick to the dry patches and can look a little messy. But the lipstick range doesn't claim to be long wearing, so it's fine, just pop it into your bag and re-apply when needed, all sorted.

I really like this colour, probably more than the pale pink Innocence, because I love peachy shades and with a little glow to the face from summery days it looks great. I really would recommend this shade and I have had a fair amount of comments on this lipstick over the past year, and some have even gone out and brought it.

Let me know what you think if you have tried this lipstick, and let me know if I should try any other shades from this range. Ooh and before I forget, I will being doing a lipstick collection post in a few weeks, so keep your eyes open for that, because I have a fair few to show you.

Hope you enjoyed

B. Pure Micellar Water

B. Pure Micellar Water
£3.32 Superdrug
This was a last minute purchase recently from Superdrug, I have heard of the brand B. before but have not necessarily purchased any of their items. When buying some other naughties from Superdrug the kind woman serving me was telling me all about this cleanser and what it does and that it was on offer for £3.32 and quite frankly she sold it to me right there and then. Something that rids you of make up and impurities in one step, yes please. Plus I have been looking for a cleanser that was for me as I have never really been into the whole cleanser thing, I'm old school at heart, give me a make up wipe and  face wash that'll do for me, but this cleanser for the great price and for being 3 in 1 has really changed my way of taking my make up off.

Another thing that I love about this cleanser is because it is for all skin types and it's quick and simple. You simply get a cotton pad, squirt the cleanser on the cotton pad and sweep over the face. However it says that there is no need for water, as you can see above, but I felt the need to use a wipe afterwards not to necessarily take make up off, because the cleanser does a great job of that, but for some reason I feel the cleanser takes a while to dry and can feel quite sticky and make the skin quite drying too once it does dry. But other than that I'm really glad I purchased this now, I think this will be my new cleanser that I purchase time and time again, as it's cheap and works amazingly and I have haven't had a bad break out since, it must be doing something right.

Tell me in the comments below if you have tried this cleanser and what you think of it.

Miss Sporty Mini - Me eye liner - 060 Aubergine

Miss Sporty Mini-Me eye liner - 060 Aubergine
£2.59 Superdrug
When I was browsing through Superdrug after the Miss Sporty Perfect Colour Lipstick in Innocence, I came across a 3 for 2 offer on all cosmetics, now there's an offer I can't refuse. I had found the lip stick, brought a concealer and just couldn't make my mind up on what else to buy and then I saw this little number. I instantly loved the colour a deep purple colour, which would give a nice pop to the eyes if it was on the water line or along the lash line.

When I swatched this on my hand as you can see above, it is a dark coloured purple. But I find that when you swatch it on the hand that the pencil is quite dry and leaves little bits along the line that you have just drawn. Although saying this, when I applied it to the waterline or just under in the lash line, it seems to run on smoothly, so I just dismiss the bitty line that occurred on my hand. When it is applied on the waterline it looks less defined on the eyes in the way that a black eye liner would look, and under the lash line gives a lovely pop of colour that doesn't look too much on the eyes. The best of it is that you could get away with wearing this as an everyday look or to really make a statement, maybe run the eye liner above the lid and flick it out for a night time look.

Another thing to comment on is the size of the product. The eye liner itself is rather small in packaging and this way makes it easier to store in your make up bag or in your everyday handbag. However, I believe the amount of product you get isn't a massive amount it has a twist up mechanism within the packaging that saves on sharpening, because there is nothing more annoying than stumbling about after a sharpener to sharpen your eye liner and it's no where to be seen. But for the price of the eye liner it's right to expect hardly any product, a few twists and the eye liner is done with.

This eye liner in general is really nice on the eyes and does seem to last a while, not too long but it will do, just stuff in your handbag and you're good to go.
Let me know if you have tried this or any other colour from this range.
